He put Tremonti together because there were songs that simply did not make sense for Creed or Alter Bridge. They represented a much heavier sound than either of those bands typically produced. Tremonti's music is mostly melodically driven.
The band's first album 'All I Was' went to number five on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums Chart in 2012 with their second, 'Cauterize' (2015), reaching number two and 'Dust' (2016) peaking at number three. Their fourth album ' A Dying Machine' came out in 2018 and they scheduled to tour Europe supporting Iron Maiden. They also toured with Sevendust in 2019.
