Their 2001 release Weathered featured the instant mainstream hit "My Sacrifice" which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100. When Creed broke up in 2004, they released a Greatest Hits album which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200. The band's members pursued solo careers until 2009 when Creed announced that they would reunite for a tour and another album making a surge of Creed tickets in demand.

Full Circle (2009) topped the Hard Rock, Top Rock and Alternative Albums charts and went to number two on the Billboard 200.
