The Arrows were founded originally as the Ontario Arrows in 2017 and had their debut in the league in an exhibition game against the Glendale Merlins. In 2018, the team played a six-game exhibition series against teams from MLR, and then played two extra games against Canada Selects, finishing 3-3-1 with one game canceled because of weather. The team also changed its name in November of 2015 to the Toronto Arrows.
