One of Stetson’s more recent rivals is Jacksonville. Though the two schools have been meeting since 1958, they later renewed their outstanding rivalry in 2018.

From the season-opening Champions Classic to March Madness, the college basketball season is always full of exciting games. Teams open their seasons in November with non-conference contests and tournaments. The Maui Invitational and Gulf Coast Showcase are two of the top early-season tournaments. The season moves into conference play in December and January before conference tournaments take place in early March. The WNIT, NIT and NCAA Tournaments will take place in March and April.
