The song earned favorable reviews from publications like Taste of Country, with critics praising Green’s neotraditional country elements. The songwriter released his debut full-length album Different ‘Round Here in 2019, which made it to the number eleven spot on the Top Country Albums chart. Later that year Green was named New Male Artist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music.
