The UConn Huskies women’s basketball team also owns the two longest winning streaks in college basketball history for both men’s and women’s basketball. They recorded 90 straight wins in 2009 and 111 consecutive wins in 2014, along with two undefeated seasons. Simply put, the UConn Women’s Basketball team is a powerhouse in its sport.

Other notable sports include men’s cross country, which has claimed four national championships. Field hockey has sixteen championships and women’s soccer has seven championships.
