Hop in the mosh pit and rock the boat with Tombs tickets. Tombs is a heavy metal band that formed in 2007 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Though their lineup has endured many changes over the years, the current members are Matt Medeiros, Drew Murphy, Justin Spaeth and Mike Hill. Guitarist and frontman Mike Hill originally formed the band with friends and musicians Justin Ennis and Dominic Seita.
Tombs released their debut album Winter Hours in 2009 through Relapse Records, following this up with Path of Totality in 2011. The Path of Totality album put the band on the map and was met with widespread praise from critics. Various publications like Decibel Magazine raved about their song “Ashes” in particular, as well as their heavy metal cover of David Bowie’s “Heroes.”
In 2013 Tombs recorded their album Savage Gold with Cannibal Corpse’s Erik Rutan. The band has been widely hailed for pushing the boundaries of the heavy metal genre and their similarity to metal legends like Black Flag and Joy Division. They tend to mix elements from black metal, grunge and punk rock. Grab a pair of Tombs tickets for a hard-hitting night of rock music you are not likely to forget soon.
