After moving into the storytelling festival circuit, Chapin was the Featured New Voices Teller at the National Storytelling Festival in Tennessee in 2007. His album Broadsides: A Miscellany of Musical Opinion was composed of socially conscious songs used by NPR. He also supports the nonprofit organization WhyHunger, which was co-founded by his brother Harry. Chapin’s sensitivity and passion come through and connect with his audience, no matter what media he uses. After so many years, he is still going strong and inspiring fans every day.
