They have released a number of critically acclaimed recordings through their own Gimell Records label, and have proved a formative influence on similar groups that would come after them including The Clerks, The Gabrieli Consort and Octarium. The Tallis Scholars have accumulated several awards, most notably the Gramophone award for Record of the Year and the Diapason D’Or de L’Annee award.
