The National Symphony Orchestra also tours nationally and internationally. They have performed around the globe as cultural ambassadors for the United States across Europe, Asia and North and South America. The National Symphony Orchestra’s musical excellence is lauded worldwide.
The National Symphony Orchestra is led by Music Director Gianandrea Noseda. Former directors Christoph Eschenbach, Leonard Slatkin, Mstislav Rostropovich, Antal Dorati, Howard Mitchell and Hans Kindler laid the foundation for musical excellence that continues today.
