Lurrie Bell Concert Tickets

Enjoy the sultry sounds of the blues with Lurrie Bell tickets. Lurrie Bell is a guitarist and singer-songwriter from Chicago. The son of musician Carey Bell, he is known for his prodigious talent and for his late 2010s album Can’t Shake This Feeling

Born in 1958 to a musical family, Bell began learning to play guitar as a boy. His father’s connections allowed him to train under greats like Eddy Clearwater, Eddie Taylor and Big Walter Horton as a teenager. His professional career started in the ‘70s when he joined Koko Taylor’s band, Blues Machine.

In 1977, Bell contributed to his father’s Heartaches and Pain, and to Eddie C. Campbell’s King of the Jungle. Shortly afterward he founded The Sons of Blues band with Billy Branch, then in 1989 set off on a solo career.

Through the 90s and early 2000s, Bell developed a cult following in underground blues circles. He broke through to mainstream attention when in 2014 he won a Blues Music Award for “Blues in My Soul.” In 2016 he released his album Can’t Shake This Feeling, which earned a nod for the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album.
