They met while attending Montana State and regularly got together to play covers of traditional and older music just for fun. In their time together, they have gone from playing music in the kitchen to performing in front of thousands at venues like Red Rocks and sharing a stage with acts like Railroad Earth, Twiddle and The Infamous String Dusters. They have played notable festivals such as Northwest String Summit and WinterWonderGrass. In 2017, the band released their debut album, Ghost in the Bottle. Leftover Salmon’s Andy Thorn produced the album, which included guest appearances by Little Feat’s Bill Payne and Greensky Bluegrass’s Anders Beck. The album got rave reviews and was streamed over a million times on Spotify. In 2019, their follow-up album, Muir Maid, reflected the music influences and backgrounds of all four band members. The album showcased songs such as “Shadows”, Woods Lake” and “Driftwood”, which would quickly become fan favorites. In 2021, they live-streamed a handful of their shows to the delight of their fans worldwide.
