Fontaines D.C. tickets are sold all over the world. Formed in 2017, this post-punk band is vocally led by Grian Chatten. Conor Deegan III plays the bass while Tom Coll takes up percussion. They have two guitarists, Carlos O’Connell and Conor Curly. The group met while they were attending the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in The Liberties, Dublin. Originally formed as a group of poets, the band has released two books together. While Vroom and Winding were well received, the young students decided to branch out into writing and performing music instead.

Originally known as Fontaines, the group named themselves after a character from The Godfather. After a Los Angeles band chose the same name, they included the letters D.C. after their own name for Dublin City. Although Fontaines D.C tickets are now available internationally, Ireland and Dublin are still a huge part of their message and image. Their first album, Dogrel, is a play on Doggerel, the poetry of the Irish working class. After it was released in April 2019, it topped the charts in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. In 2020, they released the highly anticipated album A Hero’s Death which featured a title track as well as the songs “I Don’t Belong” and “Televised Mind.”
