The team has been competing out of Duluth since 2003. Home field for the Huskies is Wade Stadium, which was built in 1941 and can accommodate 4,200.

The Huskies first season was 2003, managed by Jeff Casper, who led them in their debut to a 24-39 season, not qualifying for the playoffs.
