Calumet Concert Tickets
Listen to an Arizona band with Calumet tickets. The band Calumet was founded in Phoenix in 2001 by vocalist, guitarist and keyboard player Eric “ET” Mobley, guitarist Jason “JJ” Mitchell, Ian “Eon” White on bass and drummer Joel “Boodat” Phillips. When the band first formed, it performed covers of funk and soul songs at venues such as barbecue restaurants and festivals in parking lots around the greater Phoenix area.
The group soon began to introduce their own material into their repertoire and by 2002 had released their debut album Retro Energy and had expanded their range, playing all around Arizona, performing in such nightclubs and restaurants as Martini Ranch and Livingston’s. Over the course of the next seven years, numerous musicians played as part of the band, including singer Marvin Scott and the band started to play festivals and be opening acts for such national bands as Kool & The Gang, George Benson and Al Green as well as releasing two more albums before taking a break in 2009.
