The lead frontman, Tomas Kalnoky, along with a few other members, came from Catch 22 and formed Streetlight Manifesto when Kalnoky gathered a large group of musicians to play on the Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution EP, A Call to Arms. Kalnoky writes the band’s songs on his acoustic guitar and then fleshes out the song structure on the computer and hums basic horn lines, after which the rest of the band comes in and adds their parts.
