The band’s 2012 release, Bur. Flicker. Die., was one of the most successful in the run earning a nomination for Best Americana/Roots Album in the 2013 Lone Star Music Awards. It was produced by Jason Isbell.

The band clearly struck a nerve with fans who raised $24,000 through Kickstarter for the band’s next album Wolves (2015). It was recorded at Echo Mountain in Asheville and released independently. The band experienced a big shakeup in 2017 when current members disbanded, but Barham continues to refresh the roster with new talent.
