The first concert in the hall was on October 31, 1978, which showcased Crowe’s band, Strictly American. In May of 1980, the club was moved to a hall above a sandwich shop. The club moved multiple times, first in 1981 and then in 1983. Barrie Buck bought the club in 1987 and moved it again. In 1991, the club moved to its final and current location.
