They were at their height when Orbison died of a heart attack at the age of 52 in 1988. Posthumously, Orbison has been the recipient of many awards including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and induction into America's Pop Music Hall of Fame and the Memphis Music Hall of Fame.
