The team’s coach is Keith Allain, under whose leadership the Bulldogs secured an Ivy League championship in 2007.  The Yale Bulldogs won a sweeping victory against Quinnipiac to claim their first Division I title in 2013.

The Yale Bulldogs is the first college hockey team formed in the US and can trace its program’s history back to 1893. The Bulldogs’ first college game was against Johns Hopkins three years later. In ‘06 alumni Keith Allain was made the school's first new head coach in over three decades.
