Singer-songwriter Vasco Rossi is one of Italy's most successful rock and pop performers with a career spanning four decades. He began recording in 1978 with the release of his debut album '...Ma Cosa Vuoi Che Sia una Canzone...' and since those early days he has risen to the top of the Italian music business. After retiring from touring in 2011, he later rescinded his decision and continues to tour and record new material into 2019, most recently releasing the single 'Se Ti Potessi Dire'. In addition to his solo work Rossi is a prolific songwriter and has written more than 250 songs recorded by other artists, with the combined record sales of his solo work and songwriting having been estimated at more than 35 million units.
