The Cult Concert Tickets

Buy The Cult tickets today from TicketSmarter to see a post-punk and hard rock concert experience like no other. Emerging from Bradford, Yorkshire, UK, The Cult formed as a gothic, metal revivalist band by vocalist Ian Astbury, guitarist Billy Duffy, drummer Ray Mondo and bassist Jamie Stewart. Originally known as Death Cult, they feared being interpreted as a strictly gothic band. Thus, in 1984 Death Cult became The Cult, establishing their variety of hard rock with punk/psychedelic influences.

The Cult’s debut full-length Dreamtime premiered in 1984, peaking at No. 21 on the UK Albums Chart. Singles such as "She Sells Sanctuary would gain them a committed following in the United Kingdom before eventually penetrating into the mainstream in the United States with their albums Electric and Sonic Temple.

The Cult released two more studio albums with Ceremony and The Cult before breaking up in 1995. The band reunited in 1999 and released their seventh album Beyond Good and Evil two years later. The Cult went their separate ways once again in 2002, but returned in 2006 to perform a series of worldwide tours, and have since released studio albums Born Into This, Choice of Weapon and Hidden City. Reserve The Cult tickets today and don’t miss out on this opportunity to see one of the greatest hard rock bands currently around.
