See one of the most promising new groups in alternative rock with Sub*T tickets. Sub*T is an alternative rock duo made up of members Jade Alacantra and Grace Bennett. The two met online and connected over a shared love of music, forming Sub*T in the late 2010s to give voice to their thoughts on the evolution of the alternative rock genre.
Alacantra and Bennett began learning to play guitar and write songs, making music together at a distance through iCloud. Though Alacantra hails from California and Bennett from New York, they were able to complete their debut single “Boxing Day” remotely. The single earned praise from outlets like Alternative Press for its compelling harmonies and gritty guitar riffs reminiscent of acts like Hole, Bikini Kill and Garbage.
Shortly afterward Sub*T collaborated with Bully lead singer Alicia Bognanno on their debut EP, with a vision of bringing female empowerment to rock and roll. Sub*T released their first full-length album in 2022.
