Born in 1983 in Andhra Pradesh to a musical family, Srinivas began writing music when he was only nine years old. At eleven he became a supporting musician for the 1994 film Bhairava Dweepam. He then joined the Raj-Koti scoring team as a young man, with which he worked on over sixty films.
Srinivas’ first films as music director came in the late 2000s with Sindhanai Sei and Malli Malli. He rose to national attention, however, with the release of the Telugu film Kick in 2009. The film was a runaway smash and established Srinivas as one of the leading composers in the genre.
