Radney Muckleroy Foster was born July 20, 1959, in Del Rio, Texas. In 1979, he dropped out of college to move to Nashville at the advice of Randy Goodrum. He formed the duo Foster & Lloyd in 1985 in which they received a recording contract from RCA records. He has recorded with a wide range of artists, including country artists such as Keith Urban, The Dixie Chicks, and Luke Bryan. In early 2017, he starred in Troubadour, a country musical by Kristian Bush, from the band Sugarland. He's written top singles such as "Raining on Sunday" performed by Keith Urban, and "Don't Go Out" performed by Tanya Tucker.
