Matisyahu Concert Tickets

You don't have to be religious to enjoy Matisyahu tickets as his music transcends traditional influences. Born as Matthew Paul Miller and performing under the stage name of Matisyahu, Matthew has been working in the music industry since 2000. The Matisyahu sound is unique for his ability to blend his Orthodox Jewish teachings with a mix of rock, reggae, rap, and beatboxing. Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Matisyahu is best known for his 2005 single "King Without a Crown," featured heavily in the media.

Miller originally started his career performing as MC Truth before changing his name after touring Israel. The word "Matisyahu" can be translated from Hebrew into "Gift of Yahu" (Hebrew for God.) In 2006 Matisyahu released his second album, Youth, which featured "King without a Crown" and helped him climb into the national spotlight. The album reached the number one spot on Billboard magazine's digital album list in March of that year, and Matisyahu a position as top reggae artist by Billboard.

The thing that makes Matisyahu tickets so unique is his ability to evoke passion across multiple genres. On songs like "I Will be Light," there aren't too many lyrics as a fiery beatboxing freestyle takes up most of the track. Perhaps the best example of Matisyahu's style is found in the chorus of his most famous song. The verse reads, "What's this feeling? My love will rip a hole through the ceiling. Givin' myself to you from the essence of my being and I sing to my God all these songs of love and healing". With just a phrase, Matisyahu can draw in fans around the world.
