The group debuted in 1997, performing with the Rochester Philharmonic with conductor Jeff Tyzik.
The ensemble performed at the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival as well as in Pops concerts with local orchestras in the Baltimore area as well as Vancouver, Dallas and Detroit and other cities as well, with songs and arrangements by pianist Richard Delaney.

Their debut recording, Marinera, was released in 2003 and continues to be played on Latin stations throughout North America and in Puerto Rico.
