The Gamblers won back-to-back Anderson Cup titles in 1996 and 1997 which helped to solidify the team’s reputation. Green Bay also won the Clark Cup in 1996. Former head coach Jon Cooper is a well-known alumnus of the Gamblers, being the first USHL coach to lead an NHL team, going on to lead the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2013.
