Following the performance, the group was flooded with gig requests and performance dates. The four core members of the band are McCutchen, bassist Dan Horne and guitarists Sam Blasucci and Clay Finch. They are supported by a rotating group of musicians during live performances.

The band operates from Horne’s house in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, which they named “Liberty Hair Farm Compound.” They rehearse songs, record, and even hold occasional live concerts from the property. Critics have commended the group for capturing the classic Grateful Dead sound and being able to create a one-of-a-kind concert experience.
