Dirtwire is an American band that consists of David Satori, Evan Fraser, and Mark Reveley, all of whom play a variety of uncommon musical instruments. They dabble in experimental music which incorporates electronic music and instruments they have found throughout the world. The band formed through their shared appreciation for global sounds and instruments, such as those played in several bands when they were students at CalArts. Though they started as a psychedelic space-funk jam band in college, Dirtwire morphed into their current genre after their move to the Bay Area. In their live shows, they create a smooth blend between computer production and traditional instrumentation by treating the laptop as another band member. They have performed in all parts of the world including Europe, Asia, Australia, and Central America. They are honored to celebrate the world's unique and diverse musical cultures with their own unique expressions.
