The following year Bejar and the outfit had their first major critical success with Streethawk: A Seduction, which was met with a glowing review from the tastemaker music publication Pitchfork. The band released a number of albums from 2002 on Merge Records including 2011’s Kaputt, featuring some of their biggest songs “Kaputt” and “Chinatown”.
