That same year, Cults' second Best New Music award was earned for their hit single "Abducted" from their self-titled debut album, Cults. Additionally, Cults was invited to perform at several festivals in 2011, including the ATP I'll Be Your Mirror and ATP Nightmare Before Christmas festivals. Cults tickets became available again in 2012 when the band played at the Australasian music festival. The following year, Cults was featured in J. Cole and Amber Coffman's album, Born Sinner, which reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.
In 2013, Cults released their second album, Static, which peaked at No. 114 in U.S. charts. The band's fourth album, Offering, debuted in 2017. Cults gained further recognition when their song, "You Know What I mean," was featured in the outro for episode 6 of Netflix's hit series Russian Doll. In 2020, Host marked Cults' fourth album, which included the hit single "Always Forever." The single became one of the band's most popular tracks and was certified gold by the RIAA.
