The band traces its beginnings to the pop-punk sound that emerged in the early 2000s. The band is comprised of Rory O’Connell, who performs lead vocals and plays guitar, his brother and bassist Kealan O’Connell, guitarist Daniel Wonacott and drummer Alex Buster. The band reminds listeners of Green Day and Taking Back Sunday. The band takes its name from the area most of the bandmates grew up in.

The album was recorded in multiple studios, including creating a makeshift studio in a room at Rory McConnell’s house in Santa Ana. The first single off the album was called “Wrapped Up.”
