Several of the members of Streetlight were actually already well known in the ska community for playing in past ska bands in the area, like Catch 22 and One Cool Guy. The lead frontman, Tomas Kalnoky, along with a few other members, came from Catch 22 and formed Streetlight Manifesto when Kalnoky gathered a large group of musicians to play on the Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution EP, A Call to Arms. Kalnoky writes the band’s songs on his acoustic guitar and then fleshes out the song structure on the computer and hums basic horn lines, after which the rest of the band comes in and adds their parts. 

Over the years, Streetlight Manifesto has released five albums and toured the U.S. and Europe. Streetlight gives a fast-paced, energetic performance whenever they play a show and it’s infectious.
