Considered part of the EDM music scene, the duo’s unique style is anything but generic and includes influences from hip-hop, house, drum, and bass, dubstep, jungle, and more.

Although Zeds Dead is now internationally recognized for their remixes and original productions, the duo started out hosting a weekly party they dubbed Bassmentality, a space they created for themselves and other new DJs to play without restrictions from concert promoters. For four years the party featured up-and-coming performers such as now-popular Skrillex, Borgore, and Doctor P.

Zeds Dead first began touring in 2010 and for several years released different remixes and EPs in collaboration with big-name artists. Their 2014 EP Somewhere Else earned them a spot on the Billboard 200. Zeds Dead’s first LP, Northern Lights, was released in 2016 and included acclaimed guest musicians Styles P and Diplo among others.
