Waldo Stadium Seating Chart

With an initial seating capacity of only 15,000 individuals, the stadium has expanded to now accommodate 30,200 people since 1989. For a close-up shot of the broadcasted performance, find seating close to the main video board in the east end zone or the two auxiliary boards. The student section consists of seating located at the Western Michigan Broncos Football bench and the section behind the bench. It also features a non-student section called the Visitors bench. It’s well-suited for families. There’s also a grilled food stand outside the seating area.

Seats in the D and R sections are located at the 50-yard line, providing centralized views of the field. Seats from the H through M sections and V to Z sections are located behind the endzones. To find seats near the John Gill Stadium Club, book your seats in sections C, D or E. Students who have a savings account at the PNC Bank are provisioned with seating facilities in section X in front of the Donald J Seelye Athletic Center. Sideline Premium seating can be found in the visitor seating area in sections B to F.

The Waldo Stadium has hosted several events throughout history. In 1975, it hosted the inaugural Michigan Highschool Athletic Association (MHSAA) Football State Championship.  In May 2010, the stadium hosted an inaugural Kalamazoo Valley Association Football Classic by the Kalamazoo Valley Association. Above all, the Waldo Stadium is home to the renowned Western Michigan Broncos Football. Western Michigan University (WMU) holds the attendance record of 36,361 patrons at the Mid-American Conference held at the stadium. The 2019 rivalry match between WMU and Central Michigan University (CMU) was held at the Waldo Stadium. It acted as a victorious turning point for the Broncos of WMU.
