The track is the site for the AAA NHRA FallNationals each year in October when both professional and amateur drag racers assemble to race for a combined purse of over $2 million. Past winners of the FallNationals include 16-time NHRA Champion John Force, Kenny Bernstein, who has the nickname the “King of Speed” and Tony Schumacher. Schumacher, an eight time NHRA Champion is the son of NHRA icon Don Schumacher.
