It featured seven covered livestock barns, a horse barn and a rodeo arena. There was also a judging show arena that had enough seating for 1,100 people.
What was originally known as the Taylor County Livestock & Exposition Center merged with the Taylor County Coliseum in 1975. It can be found on South 11th Street in Abilene, Texas. This brought a multipurpose event center with an official capacity of 5,000 individuals into the Expo Center.
