A significant figure in the history of aviation in his native country of Norway, Solberg has been honored by Jarlsberg, Norway’s oldest airport. The Solberg Airport is run by members of the Solberg family to this day.
The Solberg Airport contains over 700 acres in Readington and employs two runways. It uses roughly 100 separate aircraft to run an average of 60 aircraft operations per day. The airport was famously subject to special restrictions during the Trump administration, as the facility lies only 10 miles south of the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster.
