Saluki Stadium is a 15,000-seat football arena located in Carbondale, Ill., on the campus of Southern Illinois University, It is the home field for the SIU Salukis. The stadium was built in 2010 to replace aging McAndrew Stadium, which had been home to the football team since 1938.
The stadium was constructed as an element of the Saluki Way Project, which also renovated the SIU Arena and created a new athletic support building, which included office space and locker rooms for the football team. The inaugural game of Saluki Stadium was on September 2, 2010, with SIU hosting Quincy.

There are also 1,080 seat-back chairs placed on the grass berm surrounding the North end zone. The stadium also contains concession stands and restrooms. The surface of the playing field is covered in FieldTurf. On August 21, 2017, the stadium was the site of a watch party for the solar eclipse.
