Reg Lenna Civic Center was built in 1923. It had its first major renovation in 1987 in which it was closed for three years until it reopened on October 12, 1990. Almost thirty years later, it received another major renovation with a construction cost of $4.5 million. This facelift conjoined the center to the other seven connected buildings as well as a new concession stand and box office. It also relocated the art gallery and expanded The Reg’s radio station, WRFA, to a more functional multimedia studio that is located on the third floor of the building.
