Palais Theatre Event Tickets
Exceptional performances begin with Palais Theatre tickets. The venue stands in St. Kilda, Australia, in Greater Melbourne, and opened in 1927, having undergone several phases. In 1914, the first incarnation of the building was called the Palais de Danse, and it was also known as Palais Pictures during the First World War. The 1920s version of the building was designed by architect Henry Eli White and underwent renovations during the early 1950s and again in 2017 by Live Nation Australia. It is located on the traditional land of the Boonwurrung people and can accommodate over 2,800 patrons.
In 2024, the seating sections underwent a refurbishment process that included new carpeting and vinyl flooring while maintaining a decor true to its historic design. The auditorium features seating in the orchestra, stalls and lounge, and you can be there with Palais Theatre tickets from TicketSmarter. A sampling of the artists who have performed at the venue include musicians Laufey and Belinda Carlisle, in addition to comedians like Em Rusciano and Urzila Carlson. It was voted Best Large Venue in 2022 by the Music Victoria Awards and remains a destination for family-friendly showcases such as Hello Kitty’s Super Adventure: The Musical and more.
