Jim Perry Stadium was formerly named Taylor Field from the beginning of its inception until 2012. It was first named after Herbert B. Taylor for his contributions to the school's athletic programs. In 2012, it was renamed to one of Campbell's most notable alumni, Jim Perry, who lettered in baseball and basketball at the school before then moving on to pitch in Major League Baseball for 17 seasons. Ten of those came with the Minnesota Twins.
