The stadium is the home field to the Charleston Dirty Birds, which competes in the Atlanta League of Professional Baseball, or ALPB, out of the South Division. The ALPB is a partner league of MLB and operates in cities that have no Major League Baseball or Minor League Ball teams.

The field has also been utilized by West Virginia University and the University of Charleston.  From 2006 to 2018, it was the primary home for Marshall University’s Conference USA games. The field is also the site of the West Virginia state high school baseball championships. The stadium’s seating capacity is 4,500. Leftfield stretches 330 feet, the center field goes out 400 feet and then the right field is 320 feet.
