The Kings Royal is an annual event that is among the richest payouts in sprint car racing and now encompasses four nights of competition at the track. In 2013, the raceway began hosting the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series annually to compete in the Eldora Dirt Derby. Eldora Speedway Seating Chart
The Eldora Speedway offers a total seating capacity of 22,000, with grassy hillside areas allowing for an overflow of spectators. The main grandstands cover the length of the front straightaway with 13 sections of seating. The south and north bleachers cover the first two turns and the final two corners respectively. The north and south terraces, as well as, the grass hillsides provide excellent seating areas, but require that all race fans in those areas to provide their own lawn chair.

Eldora Speedway Schedule
The Eldora Speedway in New Weston keeps a busy schedule with a variety of large and small events. Racing at the track begins in April with local late model, modified and stock action. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series makes three appearances at the track with the four nights of the Kings Royal in July being one of the crown jewels of sprint car racing. The major stars of late-model racing compete in the Dirt Late Model Dream in June and the World 100 in September. The USAC ranks also hold some very thrilling shows with three appearances at the track, including the season ending 4-Crown Nationals in September.
NASCAR’s Gander Outdoor Truck Series makes its lone dirt track appearance at the speedway for the midweek Dirt Derby. This race sees NASCAR stars in unfamiliar territory as they leave the pavement and try their hand at a completely different style of racing.
