Eddie Robinson Stadium opened in 1983 and was named after their beloved longtime football head coach Eddie Robinson, who has been recognized as one of the greatest head coaches of all time with a record of 408-165-5. He coached the team from 1941 to 1997 and built the team into a powerhouse. In 2017, the stadium went through some major renovations that included new turf, a better scoreboard, plus additional parking and more room to tailgate. The renovation cost $2 million.
