Coffey Field opened in 1930 and was named after the former head baseball coach and athletic director, Jack Coffey. The stadium was designed by Jack L. Gordon Architects. The stadium has gone through extensive changes over the years such as tearing out the old wooden bleachers and replacing them with aluminum, adding more seating and a huge weight room, then replacing the grass field with FieldTurf.
