Whether it’s a car show or a circus, you’ll always have a great time with Carlisle Fairgrounds tickets. Carlisle Fairgrounds lies in Carlisle, Pa., and hosts Carlisle Events and is the site of some of the largest collector events for cars and trucks in the United States.
Carlisle Events was established by Chip Miller and Bill Miller Jr., who became friends due to their mutual interest in 1950s-era cars. The two would peruse car shows and swap meets, and they determined the need for a collectors car event in 1973. The two men rented the Carlisle Fairgrounds on September 26, 1974, for their inaugural event, dubbed “Post War ’74,” with almost 600 vendors and 13,000 visitors.
Have a great time anytime you visit with Carlisle Fairgrounds tickets. In a few years, the fairgrounds became a prime destination for collector car enthusiasts across the globe as the host of the annual Fall Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet & Car Corral. In 1977, a Spring event was added. The Millers bought the 82-acre fairgrounds in 1981.
The Millers have improved the fairgrounds over the years, tailoring its renovations to accommodate the car show and its visitors. As well, the Millers have added other shows to the schedule, including Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals, Carlisle Ford Nationals, Carlisle GM Nationals and Carlisle Chrysler Nationals as well as shows specifically aimed at different types of vehicles.
