Bobcat Ballpark opened in 2009 with new renovations that hold up to 2,400 spectators with four luxury suites, batting cages, stadium lights and a team merchandise area. On March 5, 2009, Texas State opened its season on the new field against the Texas Longhorns to a record-breaking 2,593 fans.
