That same year, the 365 Club debuted in its original location of 365 Mark Street.
The two businesses merged in 1951, owned by Agostino “Bimbo” Giuntoli. He got the nickname from a coworker who could not pronounce his name. The 365 Club was initially a speakeasy and an after-hours venue for gambling and under Giuntoli’s management, became one of the most popular speakeasies in town.

As Bimbo’s 365, the place was extremely popular until 1970, when Giuntoli retired. It became a venue to rent out for private parties until 1988 when Giuntoli’s grandson reopened it as a music venue.
